The Mario Mosaic is a collection of images from Pittsburgh Penguins fans, cancer survivors and Lemieux Foundation supporters, which make up a larger tribute image of Mario Lemieux’s career. When viewed from far away, the primary image is visible, while close examination reveals that the image is made up of many smaller images.

The Mario Lemieux Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, is dedicated to raising funds for cancer research and patient care, as well as Austin’s Playrooms, an initiative which creates playrooms for children and families in medical facilities. Learn more at www.mariolemieux.org.
